Daniel Fast 2012: Day Eight Dear Family & Friends, This is what we do in order to know and love Jesus more..... Something that has helped us to know and love God is the practice of praising Him at the start of every day. Start the day speaking His praises out loud; glorify him as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is Creator of all that is good and only He is worthy of our praise and adoration. Going to Him each day as a son and declaring his glory out loud sets an attitude for the day and gets our minds off of ourselves and onto the One who made us!                               This is what we do in order to share the gospel with others.... To help others know God, we attempt to listen to them instead of doing all the talking. We try to demonstrate mercy and compassion instead of judgment. We want to put off an elevated opinion of ourself and put on humility. Helping others know God better involves demonstrating Him to them.  When trust is built, perhaps someone asks for direction and strategies that can help them grow—then you can share some more specific direction or tools that could help. People want to be listened to, and then they want to grow more. We pray that you will experience the love and presence of Father today!
